Rocket

Shawn was a little sad today when I told him that he couldn't got to school because he has a temperature. But then he decided to make a rocket out of some old boxes, and I guess that made up for the fact that he couldn't go to school.

Pofolks

We went to Pofoks in Niceville, with Adrianna so that she could have some southern food before she left.

Shawn loved the fried Green tomatoes!

Navarre Beach

We went to Navarre Beach for the 1st time today and we had a lot of fun with all the shells that we found on the beach.

Picture Day

Today was Shawn School picture day, and I thought that he looked cute so I took some photos of him before he left for school.

Box Fun

They played peek a boo with the box. Then Shawn had fun just pulling Charlene in the box.

Uptown station

We went to uptown station today and Shawn played in the rain with another little boy. Then once it stopped raining he and the other boy decided to play in the water area. I guess they were already wet from the rain it didn't matter if they got any wetter.

Dolpine cruise Destin Harbor

Shawn and his little friend Sam who was only 2 1/2. She wanted to be where Shawn was the whole time.
Another one of Shawn's Friends that he made during the cruise. This guy and his wife took pity on Shawn and I when I was trying to hold a screaming 14 mouth old, and a frightened Shawn, and all our stuff, while going over some big swells. Adrianna got sea sick and was puking off the side of the boat so the help was welcomed.
He was pretty excited to be on a boat.
It was hot that day and Shaw was ready for the cruise to start.

More cruise photos

When we where on the cruise we saw a plane with thick black smoke trailing behind it and thought that it might be a C-130 and sure enough it was.
Shawn got to steer the ship with the captain. After, he kept and telling me what a go ship captain he was and that he steered the ship perfectly under the Destin bridge.

A nice day at the beach

It was a nice clear day at the Beach when we took my friend Adrianna (from Oregon).

Shawn wanted me to stop taking pictures and go swimming with him.

School treats

I made some Party cones to bring to Shawn's School for his birthday. If you would like to make them, this is what you need to do.
Get your Ingredients Together:
24-36 Flat Bottom ice cream cones
3/4 Cup mini chocolate chips
1 T. Flour
1 Package cake mix
Vanilla Frosting

Then start cooking:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Place each ice cream cone upright in muffin cups
In a small bowl, stir together chocolate chips and flour
Prepare cake batter as directed on the package, stir in chips mixture.
Fill each come 3/4 full with batter
Bake 25-30 minutes
Cool completely
Frost
Then you have little cup cake ice cream cones.

Chucky Cheese

We went to Chucky Cheese before haveing to pick up a friend at the Pensacola Airport.

Shawn loves the Chucky Cheese mouse!

Shawn was a little sad that there wasn't a Chucky running around, so he wanted his picture taken with the sketchy 80's robot mouse.

Little cowboy

Aunt Cherie sent Shawn some water guns that came with gun holsters. He couldn't wait to put them on.

Birthday morning

On the morning of Shawn's Birthday we had pancakes ( Shawn's favorite), and he got to open some gifts.

Kitchen Valences

It may not look like it, but it took me all day to get the valences, cut out and made. And then the next day I put them up.
I didn't think that it would take me that long since I got a pattern that was sewing for dummies. Good thing I didn't get a complicated pattern.

G I Joe

Shawn got a gift card and some money for his birthday, so we went to the store and he picked out an GI Joe action figure set. He was pretty excited to get it set up and start playing with it.

Shawn's Birthday Party

Shawn had a little Birthday party on Labor Day. It rained a little during his party, but he seemed to still have fun. I think that he had more fun running around with his friends then haveing cake and presents.

Camo boy

When Shawn got home from School today he ran to his room and put on every piece of Camouflage clothing that he could find. When I asked it I could take a picture he had to pose with his water gun.
