So Sleepy

After we got home from trick or treating and he changed into his PJ's and passed out on the floor. I just thought that it was cute.

Happy Halloween!

Shawn and I went over to our friends house and has dinner "n' a pumpkin and went trick or treating. I think that Shawn had fun running door to door to get candy! He also liked the fact that he got to play with 4 other boys!
We had a ninja turtle, bug, wild thing, dinosaur, and Harry Potter.
Shawn didn't however want to put on any green face paint to make him look more like a turtle. But at least he wore his shell and hood.

Pumpkin

Shawn wanted to carve a little pumpkin for Halloween. He had fun scooping out all the slim and seeds from the inside, and creating the perfect pumpkin man with glasses.

Trunk or Treat

Jeni Graves and the back of their car for truck or treating I thought it was pretty cool with the pumpkins.
Tonight we went to a Trunk or Treat Party at the church. Shawn dressed up in his Ninja Turtle costume , but only wore the shell part for 10 min before taking it off. I also did his make up but that only lasted for 30 sec before that was ruined. I think that Shawn doesn't enjoy all the photos that I take of him, because in all the pictures that I took he looks really mad.

Footie PJs

I don't think that I have put Shawn in footie PJ's since he was 2. But I was at Walmart and there where Buzz Lightyear PJ's for only $7 and I just had to get them.

Shawns Friend Kenzi

We are watching our friends dog Kenzi for a week, while they get ready to move away to Texas. Shawn loves Kenzi and even loves to take her for walks. He will miss her and the Henderson's move.

Air museum

I went to the Church today for a big Super Saturday Craft day. While I was there Shawn got to spend the Day with Monica Talley and her family, at the car show at the air museum. I know that he had a lot more fun with them then he would have with me.

Our Orange tree

When we moved into our new house last January I thought that I had a lemon tree in the back yard and I was very excited about it. Then Spring came and it looked like ants ate all the little lemon buds that where growing, so I stopped going out and checking the tree. Then Shawn came in today and told me that I had lemons on my tree. I went out there and they weren't lemons they where large oranges, 4 of them. So Shawn and I were a little excited and I took some photos of Shawn and the Orange tree.

Hay Ride

There where some cows there and Shawn had fun looking at them, and tried to feed them with Tommy Mayfield.


We went to a little get together in Baker and went on a Hay Ride. I had to take the photos with my phone so they are a little blurry.

Fishing with the youth

We went fishing with the youth. And like all fishing trips that Shawn goes on, he lost interest with the actual fishing after a minute. He did have fun playing on the rocks and in the sand.

Dodger fan

Shawn watched Game 2 LA Dodgers VS Phillies. He is a cute little Dodgers fan.

Fish

Shawn has been wanting a pet for a while. So when I saw that there was a woman giving away fish I went and got some for Shawn. He was pretty excited about it. I just hope that I don't kill them.

Peanut Butter Balls

I got this recipe today and I decided to make it. Shawn and I think that they turned out delicious, so I thought that I would share it.
Shawn is such a good helper!

Peanut Butter Balls

Ingredients:

1 cup peanut butter
1 cup honey
2 cups powdered milk
1 1/2 cups crushed cornflakes
1 1/2 cups finely chopped walnuts or pecans
1 cup powdered sugar

Directions:

Mix peanut butter, honey, and milk together in a large bowl to form very thick mixture. Roll mixture in small balls about the size of a walnut. Roll the balls in either the crushed cornflakes, finely chopped nuts, or powdered sugar. Place on waxed paper and refrigerate for 20 minutes.

Yield 18 to 24 pieces

Orange Tree

We found an Orange tree today and Shawn and I went to go and pick some. I told him that we should only take a couple, since they are still green. But he got a little carried away to picked a ton. They still taste really good.

Park fun

We went to the park on Base today. Shawn had fun playing on the slides and the swings.

Fun in the Rain

Today Shawn and I where going to go on a bike ride, but when we got outside it started to rain. So Shawn decided to play in the rain. Our drive way turns into a huge puddle whenever it rains, and it was a pretty fun place to play today. He was out there for a while. I only thought to grab my camera right before we went in. But I am sure that you can imagine how much fun he was having.

Crib

So I have been looking for a crib for our soon to be little one. And I found one on Craigslist for only $40. I was super excited, So I got it and set it up today!
